What's New

2013 service data entry now closes on 17th May 2013

Data entry has now been extended to  17th  MAY for this year's census.

Your username and password for IBDQIP are different from the one you use for Inpatient care and biologics data entry. If you would like to change your password to one for both inpatient care and IBDQIP please contact IBDQIP@rcplondon.ac.uk

Please REMEMBER  that this needs to be completed by a multidisciplinary team and include the views of a patient(s). It is important that you let your team know and arrange a meeting to discuss your site's answers.

The assessment tool has been revised, so that it can meet the requirements of data collection for the Organisational element of the 4th round of audit (4th round organisational data collection will be 2014). We would like your feedback on the assessment tool, as in previous years. Please follow this link to conplete a short survey    https://www.rcpworkforce.com/se.ashx?s=253122AC1A8FC28F

Peer support visits in 2013

We would like to invite sites to participate in peer support visits after IBDQIP data entry in 2013. Our 2012 pilot was very well received  and we would like to build on this success.

These visits are intended to be a mutually supportive way of discussing your results, implementing action plans and making improvements. These visits are not intended to provide quality assurance or accreditation of services.

Sites who wish to participate will be matched by:

  • type of service

  • distance from each other

  • results are matched so that each site has an opportunity to share and to learn

Services will then be sent the details of their matched site and will be asked to arrange a visit for 2-3 members of the team to the other site (with reciprocal return visit in 3-6 months). Each visit will take 2-2.5 hours, support for travel expenses is available.

For further information on participation in 2013 and to see the report of the 2012 pilot please see below:
